Rachel Birthistle Studio hosted an exclusive event for the owners of Italy’s most iconic villas and gardens, offering a day of connection, discovery, and design at a historic Tuscan estate celebrating heritage with purpose and refined hospitality.
PROJECT BRIEF
In partnership with Grandi Giardini Italiani, the Studio curated a day-long gathering for villa and garden owners. A guided exploration of the grounds was followed by a seated lunch, the launch of the Grandi Giardini fragrance, and a series of talks.
This special gathering brought together the owners of Italy’s leading historic villas and gardens under the Grandi Giardini Italiani association. Held at a storied Tuscan estate, the event offered guests the opportunity to explore the property through curated garden tours while deepening connections among the custodians of these remarkable spaces.
Rachel Birthistle Studio designed a seated al fresco lunch with a thoughtful, regional menu classics such as Pici al ragù celebrating Tuscan simplicity in an elegant setting. The occasion also marked the official launch of the Grandi Giardini Italiani perfume, unveiled during the event.
The afternoon concluded with a series of conversations led by members of the association and Rachel herself, highlighting how these exceptional properties can evolve as refined settings for contemporary cultural and private events.
