During a research trip to South Africa, Rachel discovered Lalela Scarf, a brand whose mission is as compelling as its design. With 100% of profits funding arts education for youth in under-resourced communities, Lalela empowers the next generation through creative expression. To bring visibility to their work and introduce their products to a European audience, the Studio hosted a curated pop-up in its Cernobbio space. The selection included pyjamas, scarves, washbags, and pouches each piece a canvas for vibrant, original artwork created by Lalela students. This collaboration was both a retail activation and a platform for purpose, aligning with the Studio’s belief in storytelling that connects design with meaningful social impact.
