This private commission marked Rachel Birthistle Studio’s debut project in Mexico: an intimate celebration at Las Ventanas, framed by sea views and the desert landscape. For the ceremony, held at sunset on a panoramic terrace, the Studio contrasted the softness of the setting with a vivid yellow palette to create a striking visual statement. Lounge seating and benches were used to shape a modern, informal configuration. Dinner was inspired by La DoubleJ tableware brought from Italy: sunlit motifs paired with blue-and-white patterned linens and handmade Mexican napkin rings. Pinacate designed a suspended floral canopy echoing the palette of the sky and the table. The weekend began with a poolside rehearsal dinner where monochrome florals, traditional ceramics, and a bold mix of yellow, white, and black created a modern yet rooted aesthetic.
